James Blackburn
Senior Client Director
James originally joined in 2019 to focus on providing strategy and communications advice for businesses in both the public and private markets.
Before h2Radnor, James ran equities business development and product marketing for one of the world’s leading financial technology companies. He also served as Global COO for a mid-sized investment banking business and spent ten years at Merrill Lynch in New York and London where he became a Managing Director with specific responsibility for overseeing the equity sales and trading relationships with the firms largest US long-only and hedge fund clients.
Following a 30-year equity capital markets career, James has a broad range of relevant experiences and is exceptionally well placed to help clients navigate their way through structural changes underway in global equity capital markets.
Neville Harris
Client Director
Neville’s career had its roots in fund management (1980-2000) with roles split between running funds and undertaking research, with an increasing focus on Mid-Cap companies as time went by. In 2000, he co-founded IR Focus, an investor relations consultancy, with the aim of substantially lessening the “dialogue gap” between quoted companies and their major shareholders by more effectively building the equity story and backing it up through detailed investor feedback, often involving Investor Perception Audits, in addition to providing an outsourced IR function. In 2020 he and his corporate clients joined h2Radnor.
Catherine Nash
Client Director
Catherine started her career in the City working in investment banking at Lazard, subsequently moving into corporate broking at BZW and Credit Suisse First Boston. Shifting into in-house IR in 2000, she has led the IR function in FTSE 100, FTSE 250, US listed, and pre-IPO companies and in international, domestic, and regulated organisations across a diverse range of industries, including companies such as Spirent Communicatons plc, emap plc, BT Group plc, Royal Mail plc and abrdn plc.
She is highly experienced in the delivery of all aspects of IR including:- developing a credible investment case; providing strategic investor relations advice; developing impactful financial communications; the design of IR programmes to broaden the shareholder base; the targeting of long-term investors; as well as advising Boards on corporate governance matters, sensitive corporate situations and reputation crises.
Robert Plant
Associate Client Director
Robert joined h2Radnor in 2023 having spent his +25 year career in equities mainly at JP Morgan Cazenove and more recently at Panmure Gordon. At JPMC, Robert was the number 1 ranked analyst in the Pan European Business and Employment sector for five years running in the Institutional Investor survey. Robert is experienced in understanding differentiated business models and strategies and therefore proficient in advising on all aspects of their capital markets strategy, especially how companies present themselves to investors and analysts. Robert has advised management teams continuously through his career having been the lead analyst on many corporate broking company situations and a wide range of IPOs.
Tom Chetwood
Director, Business Development
Tom joined h2Radnor in 2018 and is responsible for business development. He liaises with private and public market investors, corporates in both realms, M&A advisors, stockbrokers and placement agents in the UK and continental Europe. In the executive sphere, he advises the management of companies sponsored by private equity firms going through a sale process and helps asset managers with articulating their story to investors.
Before joining, Tom spent 22 years working for Cazenove, KBC, Macquarie and BNP Paribas. He headed equity sales teams in London and New York having started his career in equity research. His experience promoting Asian small and mid-cap companies to institutional investors in Europe and the US which gave him an early and illuminating education in the value of proper communication and the risk of unappreciated differences in expectations.
With his experience of the requirements and challenges facing both corporates and investors in multiple markets and under changing conditions, Tom is keen to bring the valuable benefits of h2Radnor’s service to all these counterparties.
Holly Ha
Client & ESG Associate
Holly graduated from Durham University with first-class honours in Archaeology and obtained the highest grade in her final-year dissertation on the effects of modern soil pollution and its impacts on agriculture. Holly previously worked as a research analyst advising Middle Eastern governments on preservation strategies for cultural heritage for undergoing commercial development. At h2Radnor Holly is passionate about sustainability and ESG and works across public and private companies of all sizes. She assists the Client Directors on corporate projects and advisory, collaborating closely with executive teams to navigate the challenges of capital and private markets and market communications.
Holly obtained a CISI Corporate Finance Certificate (Level 3) in November 2023.
Jake Brown
Associate
Jake joined h2Radnor as an Associate in September 2024. He previously worked in investor relations at boutique investment manager Oldfield Partners, supporting the client base for the firm’s equity funds. Prior to this, Jake worked in capital markets communications at Hudson Sandler, where he worked with a variety of AIM and FTSE-listed clients. He holds the CFA UK Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Rod Oscroft
Senior Consultant
Rod has spent the last 25 years investing in the UK Smaller Company segment where he sought out undervalued business and invested for the long term. Rod started his Investment Management career at Hermes and then for the last 20 years at Legal and General Investment Management. At L&G; he managed the c.£1bn UK Smaller Companies Fund and was also Head of Active Equities, responsible for c£8bn in assets. He has significant experience in building open relationships with management teams and engaging on numerous topics and corporate events from remuneration through to Board structure, management change, IPO, M&A; and fundraisings. As a Senior Consultant, Rod will be working with h2Radnor’s clients, advising on how the companies are positioning themselves in the market, their equity stories and providing a fund manager’s perspective on a broad range of capital markets issues.
Michael Wills
Consultant
Michael has spent over 35 years working in equity sales for Cazenove, James Capel, BZW, ABN & JP Morgan. He has experience of both Asia Pacific and European equity markets, heading sales teams in London, Sydney and Hong Kong, and leading an Asian equity franchise with a small mid cap focus in both primary and secondary markets. Numerous interactions with senior company executives, from participating in management and client roadshows in Europe, Australia and Asia, has seen him develop an understanding on effective messaging and dialogue.
Simon Chisholm
Special Adviser
After qualifying as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (PWC) Simon was an asset manager for 8 years the majority at Henderson Global investors where he was Head of Global Smaller Companies funds. He then joined Berenberg Bank in 2002 establishing their capital markets business which he led for 11 years building it across multiple European countries and North America. He then founded the capital markets consultancy, Feros Advisers, after spending 20 years of his career in the investment arena as a fund manager with Henderson. In 2022, Simon was hired by Rothschild to join their recently acquired agency stockbroker Redburn (Europe) Ltd where he held the position of Head of Equity Capital Markets. Simon now works as a senior advisor for R&Co as well as acting as an independent consultant and adviser. In addition, Simon is the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director at SigmaRoc Group.
